Reflection on Picasa

Picasa is an application that helps me to manage my digital photos collections. I have downloaded this application quite a long time ago and I have experience on editing photos, make collage and videos using Picasa. However I just used them for fun, and I never get the real exposure on how to use this application but I just try it. I really satisfied using picasa because I can edit photos like professionals; I can make beautiful photos collages, slide videos, wallpapers and so on. Once I installed Picasa, the photos album from my hard drive is immediately appeared on Picasa left side page, organized by photos and dates.

            We can easily adding new photos by clicking the import button. I can play full screen slideshows, create photo collages, creates movies and gift cd and also manage online sharing by using new control at the album label. Picasa has been designed to make great looking pictures, available for everybody. To edit the picture, just double click on the selected picture and it’s ready to be edited. The editing controls served on these applications are basic fixes, fine tuning and specials effects. Basic fixes help us to make the most important edit with minimal effort. I really like to use ‘I’m feeling lucky’ button, which will automatically edit our pictures to the professional quality photos. I did not have to worry when using these applications because, once I have edited a pictures, I can easily revert them to the original pictures if I do not satisfied with the result.

            We can always add text to the picture by click the button edit text. Here, we can choose the style of font, size and color of the font. By using this tool, we just type the text, drag into position and change the angle of the text position. The retouch tool helps me to edit like a pro because it is an easy way to fixed minor distractions on the photos. I simply can remove my ugly pimples from the photos!  Red eyes remove require less works and efforts. Just press the red eye remover button, and Picasa red eye remover box are automatically located and just apply to the photos. We can crop the photos by selecting the dimension given. 

            Now, with the use of Picasa, I can make my own album, collage and slides videos to be share with my friends and family via blog, Facebook and so on. I really love to use Picasa and you can view my edited photos in my blog. Check it out!
